Privacy policy
Effective 7 November 2026
Attrova is a Shopify app operated by Tansi Group ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Attrova collects when a merchant installs it, how we use it, and how to have it deleted.
Information we collect
When you install Attrova, Shopify gives us access to your store under the permissions you approve. We store:
- Store details: your store's myshopify.com domain and the access token Shopify issues so the app can work with your store.
- Product information used for audits: product IDs, titles, handles and which product attributes are filled or missing, together with the resulting completeness scores.
- App activity: which schema packs you installed or updated, when audits ran, and when the app was installed or uninstalled.
- Plan status: your Attrova plan and trial dates, read from Shopify.
Attrova does not access or store your customers' personal information, orders or payment details. We do not store the names or email addresses of your staff.
How we use it
- To create the metafield and metaobject definitions you choose to install in your store.
- To audit your catalog and show which product attributes are missing.
- To apply the limits of your plan and to support you when you contact us.
- To keep the app secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with other merchants.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Fly.io hosts the app and its database, in Singapore. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Shopify provides your store data and your plan and billing status. Shopify handles all payments; we never see your payment details.
We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
- When you uninstall Attrova, we delete your access token and cached plan right away.
- 48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify asks us to erase your store's data, and we delete everything we hold about your store: audit results, installed-pack records and activity.
- Database backups are kept for up to 5 days and then overwritten.
- Metafield and metaobject definitions that Attrova created stay in your store, because they are your data; you can remove them in your Shopify admin.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about your store, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@getattrova.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you are, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will let you know in the app.
